Choghadiya is a guide to find out the
auspicious time (muhurat) based on Indian astrology. For doing some important
work all time is not auspicious during the 24 hours. For any favourable work,
there are 4 good choghadiya viz. Amrit, Shubh, Labh and Char. And there are 3 choghadiya
viz. Udveg, rahu Kaal today and Rog which are inauspicious. One
should not start any momentous work during these hours.
So, how to find the auspicious time today? Choghadiya as per Indian
astrologyis a part of panchang and divides day and night into 8 equal intervals starting from
sunrise to sunset for day choghadiya and sunset to sunrise next day for
night choghadiya.
It is believed that no manglikkaryakram
(auspicious work) should be done during Vaar Vela, Kaal Vela and KaalRatri.
Vaar Vela and Kaal Vela exist during day time while KaalRatriexist during night
time. All work done during these ghadi (time) are not productive.
