Choghadiya is a guide to find out the auspicious time (muhurat) based on Indian astrology . For doing some important work all time is not auspicious during the 24 hours. According to Hindu calendar 2017 , Purnima is when the full moon occurs. We know that moon revolves around Earth and it takes approximately 29.5 days to do so. During this time the size of moon expands and reduces accordingly. So, when Moon is full in size and glowing away in its glory in the sky, it is known as Purnima . And, similarly when there is no moon day , it is known as Amavasya .
